We’re glad to announce the victory of “Banana Peels Cruise” at FreDD Toulouse 2014!
The FReDD (Film, research and sustainable development) promotes movies concerning sustainable development issues, and organizes meetings and events that reach a broad spectrum of public.
This is the jury’s motivation for the prize:
Aimée, one of the dwellers on Stromboli’s Island, advocates for separate waste collection and for composting. The movies show her struggle and let us reflect about waste management issues and how to achieve a more sustainable consumption.
The jury has been touched by the charisma of Aimée, and by the metaphorical power of her battle for an eco-friendly management of the island
